It’s a Boy! Women and Non-Monetary Benefits from a Son in India

Published By: IZA on eSS | Published Date: September, 01 , 2012

Son preference is widespread in a number of developing countries. This paper tests this hypothesis in the Indian context. [IZA Discussion Paper No. 6847]. URL:[http://ftp.iza.org/dp6847.pdf].
